I spent four years working as an acquisitions editor for an Alaska publishing house. I was fortunate enough to acquire and work with some of the greatest contemporary northern voices. It was a pleasure and privilege working with such amazing talent.

I’m a historian by training and have always admired the the art of storytelling. I am enchanted by the past and amazed at the way we spin our tales.

I’ll take eggs over-easy, memoir over fiction, and poetry that rattles me. I’ll always be satisfied with a good breakfast and a great book (no matter what the genre). I’m not hard to please, I just have an insatiable appetite for great writing.
